Supporting the Community

Heritage Building Society is committed to providing ongoing support to the communities that we operate in.

Our philosophy is to put ‘People first’ by providing support to a diverse range of organisations and charities in the regions where our members and staff live, work and play.

Our support is expressed in a number of ways. We have an extensive sponsorship program that supports activities including arts and culture, local business, community events and local sporting activities.  Our support for these activities is spread across all of the geographic regions that we operate in.

In addition to our extensive sponsorship program Heritage also supports local, state and national charities through a range of ongoing fundraising activities.

Heritage is proud to have introduced their local Community Branch model in 1999.  Since then our Community Branch network has continued to grow and flourish.

Additionally, to encourage our staff to support local charities we also offer a staff volunteer day leave initiative.
