Visa is the world's most recognised card. It's welcome at more than 493 000 shops, restaurants, service stations, hotels and airlines throughout Australia and at 24 million places around the world.

Currently, when you use your Visa card to pay for something at a shop you press ‘credit’, and sign to accept the transaction. From 4 June 2008, participating shops in Australia will be able to accept a Personal Identification Number (PIN), giving you an alternative. Of course, you can continue to sign as you’ve always done.
