Activate or Cancel Cards

Activation

When you receive your new Visa Debit or Credit Card you will need to activate it for use. If you are a registered Internet Banking member, you can do this by logging into Heritage on-line Internet Banking and selecting the ’Activate a Card‘ option under the services menu.

You can also activate your card using Heritage Access Line, by calling 13 14 72 and following the prompts. You do not need to be registered for phone banking to activate your card using this method.

Cancellation

If you have lost or had your card stolen, or if you need to cancel it for any reason, you can do this by logging into Heritage on-line Internet Banking and selecting the ’Deactivate a Card‘ option under the Services menu. This is available for registered Internet Banking users 24 hrs a day, seven days a week.

You can also report a lost or stolen card 24 hrs a day, seven days a week by phoning 1800 076 037 from within Australia, or +61 7 4694 9139 from overseas.
