Cash Passport
Cash passport is the quick and easy way to get cash abroad or pay for purchases, day or night. Cash Passport is a reloadable, pre-paid PIN protected travel money card that enables you to obtain local currency from more than 1 million VISA ATMs around the world and also to pay directly for goods and services at millions of shops, restaurants, hotels and other locations that accept VISA worldwide.
It is a safer, more convenient way to take your travel money overseas.
Other features of the Cash Passport
- Website – via the Internet, cardholders have access to card information, can obtain balances and statements, locate the nearest ATM and change their PIN
- Latitude – Cardholders who load more than $5 000 will have access to ‘Latitude’, an emergency travel assistance service that is free of charge. Whether it is a medical emergency, needing a lawyer, emergency interpretation service or help with lost or stolen cards or documents. Latitude is available 24 hours a day
- Reloadable – Cash Passports are able to be reloaded, giving you flexibility to load funds when needed. This can be done via BPAY or at a Heritage branch, if you originally purchased the card from there.
If a card is lost or stolen, card replacement is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year via the Visa Global Customer Assistance Centre. To keep you on the safe side, Travelex provides you with two cards up front so even if one is lost or stolen you can still access your funds.
